My career as a bassist
I started playing bass at the age of 13, when I was captivated by bassists like Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Timmy C from Rage Against the Machine with their funk-rock basslines. Later, I also became interested in other genres of music, especially jazz and funk with their vibrant and improvised bass lines, which further fueled my passion for playing the bass.
I already began teaching during High School, when younger bass players asked me for help, tips, and tricks. Even then, I greatly enjoyed sharing my knowledge, and over time, teaching gradually developed into a passion and eventually into a profession. Through continuous engagement with different teaching methods, individual learning paths, and the needs of my students, I have been able to constantly expand my pedagogical skills. For me teaching is not just a means of conveying musical knowledge, but also a creative and communicative activity in which I myself am constantly learning and growing.
